Almost every corporate mission statement heralds it, CEOs search for it, yet most companies today seem to be missing the spark of creativity that is the foundation for growth and productivity. The ThinkWorkPlay TeamBuilding Experience offers business leaders an opportunity to bring their teams to an environment where creativity and teamwork will flourish. This workshop gives team members a new perspective from which to view themselves and their team.

Zone Training with Real Time Heart Rhythm Monitor
“The Freeze-Framer software gives golfers the ability to identify when their heart is racing and do something about it. It gives them techniques to control themselves while under pressure and in tense situations so they can use those situations to their best advantage, both athletically and in life.”

ThinkWorkPlay’s Edge Series

Help individuals within any team perform to their potential. Participants are encouraged to explore the importance of Trust, Creativity and Focus and how by developing these in themselves, they enhance their team’s performance.

These fun and exciting workshops can be conducted in the workplace or at a golf facility.

Performance Edge (2 hours):

This workshop helps corporate team members discover their individual performance zone and how to use it to foster a stronger team environment. Participants develop a greater sense of what puts them into their performance zone and how to get there more deliberately and consistently to increase their overall day to day experience in the workplace and strengthen their interactions with their colleagues and/or clients.

Discover your Edge (4 hours):

During this workshop participants will discover what makes up their Edge: the strengths and experiences that matter most to them and how to greater align their choices; who they trust themselves to be and what traits they want to more fully showcase; when they perform at their best and how to use trust, creativity and focus to access their potential more consistently. Participants will walk away with a greater awareness of what makes up their personal and professional Edge and some immediate actions and commitments to take back to the workplace.

Exceed your Edge (4 hours):

Discover Your Edge helped individuals in a corporate setting learn how and when they were working within their comfort zone and encouraged them to more fully develop the current potential they had already tapped into. Exceeding Your Edge will take participants to the next level, seeking untapped potential and challenging them to stretch into it.

ThinkWorkPlay TeamBuilding (CGTB)

The ThinkWorkPlay TeamBuilding ("CGTB") day is a program that uses golf as a tool for team building. This is not a traditional golf game, but a creative and highly experiential approach to golf that will challenge you to think more creatively. Our kickoff exercises and teambuilding program are centered around this focus, preparing you for a day of new perspectives and insights.

Our goal is to have your team think differently, work differently and play differently. All attendees have a common experience, even as they are broken down into smaller threesomes and foursomes playing the course. The exercise provides a common context for later discussion and learning.

Why The ThinkWorkPlay TeamBuilding Day?

The challenge many organizations face today when they are building and developing teams lies in the area of creating a foundation of trust among team members. The ThinkWorkPlay TeamBuilding day is a highly effective way to build and foster trust in the workplace. Placing individuals in an unfamiliar environment (even within the familiar space of a golf course) allows them to be vulnerable within a group, resulting in all areas of personal development and growth.

“The overall initiative to work with your organization seems to have been worthwhile. In addition to participating in a great team building day we seem to have generated a spirit of increased proactivity within our management team. The timing of the workshop was perfect. We held our strategic planning sessions on the following two days and came up with some great results. On a personal note, I must have gained something on the golf course: on Saturday I shot my second best ever score and my best nine hole score on Sunday. Last Tuesday was time well spent!”

"What a great experience! It enhanced the bonds of an already close-knit team of co-workers, gave us all a new perspective on how to achieve to the limit of our individual and collective capacities, and improved our golf swings. What more could one want or expect?"
Paul Stock
Executive VP and Counsel
North Carolina Bankers Association

"2006 was a great year for us. The time we spent with you helped us visualize our direction and have the confidence to move forward. My leadership team delivered great results that enabled the department to meet some challenging goals. We even used the tools and skills you taught us to help us develop our 2007 business plan."
